man bullied to death by thugs in manchester

its been all over the news today about a 64 yr old man being bullied to death by yobs around where he lives

http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-..._Over_10_Years

Typical of this countries media, its all about yobs in the papers atm so theyve reported this as a poor defenseless man with special needs bullied by horrible yobs

this man lived on the corner of my brothers road, he was always walking the streets threatening people and swearing at children, giving out abuse to anyone who dared look in his direction

not quite the poor man they are painting out in the press

im under no illllusion that someone has killed him and done wrong obviously but instead of painting the youths lok like bullies they should also look at the company he kept and the life he chose to lead too

rant over

i feel so sorry for this man when you have dissabilities iam sure you dont know what you are doing maybe it wasnt hes fault but it doesnt give people/kids the right to bully him. there was a women who lived next to my aunt and she was bullied to death. kids would knock on her door asking for cigs and biscuits and she would give them to them while shouting leave me alone and then one day two girls forced there way past her and killed her. they then put her body into a wheelie bin and dumped her into the cannal it was so sad because she was a lovely lady.

reading about this man has really made me sad :'(

i agree and i knoe there is always 2 sides 2 a story, but no matter what nobody has the right 2 harm anybody!!!!!!! he may have used verbal abuse or not,but for a bunch of people to beat up one helpless person who is old and frail (doesnt matter what age) is bullying and sick in my mind!

they got pics of it too. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...h-council.html

quote:
Mrs Askew yesterday described her son as 'a very happy person' who was 'kind and thoughtful'.

She said: 'He was a true gentleman and would often help me around the house and with shopping. He wouldn't hurt a fly and he never saw bad in anyone. He always put others first.'

Mr Askew, who also lived with his brother Brian, 67, was described by neighbours as a harmless oddball with a mental age of eight, was first targeted in the mid-1990s.

Those photos are awful .. especially the one where he's biting his own hand out of shear frustration whilst that lads looking on.

Ive knows some old people be really vicious, cantankerous old sods lol but no way does anyone deserve to live and die like that
