ebay advice

I rarely use ebay but I ordered some maternity bras off there nearly a fortnight ago and although I had no problems when I bought them before from the same seller, this time I haven't received them He says they've been sent and he will check the post his end if I check it mine, but I know for a fact it hasn't come It's been a while now and I needed them; I've bought a couple more now but if I can't get the bras I'd like my money back. If he says he sent them and I haven't received, where do I stand? xx

If he says he's sent them and you haven't received them, you need to open a dispute.
Paypal will then sort it out.. I think there's a time limit and if you don't receive your item.. they then refund your money back.

I agree with gemgti put in a dispute with paypal as you only have a short period of time to do so.

I 'think' you have 45 days to open a not received dispute .. but you normally have to wait 10 days after purchase (there was talk of them changing it to 7 but im not sure if thats happened or not)

If you payed by Paypal and he didn't send it recorded then Paypal will refund you with out doubt.

They just ask him for a tracking number and if he cant provide one then its his fault (by UK law sellers are meant to be able to prove delivery ... proof of postage isn't the same thing and the only way to prove delivery is to have it signed for)

Just open the dispute and let Paypal sort it out for you hun

just to say I ordered some stuff from ebay a few weeks ago and it took ages to arrive.. They had a backlog in the sorting office or something... so maybe give it a few more days. In the end I went down to the office and they were there.. I hadnt even had a card through.. they must think im a mind reader haha

im having the same problem at the moment.
i ordered a suit for my son to wear to his naming ceremony.

didnt arrive so i contacted seller who said for me to chase it up with post office, she wouldnt do anything but sent me a pic of proof of postage.
post office said to wait 15 working days after expected delivery and then i could claim but it had to be the seller that claimed, they wont do this so now im having to dispute it with e bay and now they are saying i waited too long to contact them and that i said it would be too big so im trying to pull a fast one.

yes i did stupidly say i thought it might be too big so i would have to buy another one for his ceremony but didnt mean i still didnt want the item.

i think my 45 days has passed now cos i waited for the bloody post office, not wanting to get the seller into trouble, my advise would be act fast.

i ve just spoken with e bay over my case and they have said that it is the sellers responsibility to make sure they chose a safe currier, it is also there responsibility to chase up any undelivered items. if the item does not arrive they should refund you.

good luck, i can see my seller having issue with this cos so far she has been a right cow
