I work dangerously close to Mcdonalds, and usually end up going there

I used to take in couscous or something but it's going to be difficult this time as I finish work at 12.30 and then have to get the bus to pick up LO from the chidminder, and the bus home so won't get home til nearly 2pm so need something I can eat easily on the bus journeys!

I used to be so good at taking lunch in, but since being pregnant what I want can change so dramatically from 9am to 2pm I normally end up getting something else even if I do take a sandwich

I buy lunch maybe every other week? I get a staff discount at the cafe, so it's pretty reasonable, but I much prefer my husband's cooking: cheaper, tastier and way more nutritious.

I bring all my lunch/snacks. Well I used to, and I will again when I go back! I worked about 12h, so I kept lots of food in the fridge at work - but I would usually bring a giant salad, or rice and veg, or noodles and veg... My office would pay for the last meal if I stayed past 8pm, so would get sushi or thai or something paid for!! Yay!

I had to bring food with me, since all the close places are crazy expensive. Our office is it a ritzy area, so nothing much under $10!

xx
