think my Lo has a new friend.. The spooky kind

So quite offten toys that have to be touched, moved ect just start randomly going off in his play pen when his in his highchair or even when his in there but not playing with them or near to them.

I "no" there is someone on our staircase my mum says when she was staying here someone was watching her, and when Lo is in the bath some times he will just stare at the top of the stairs and smile.

All i wants to no now though is, is it a child of the house type or a family member playing.

My family seem to pull friends in. More the boys than girls.

Well, if he's smiling at them (and I do believe children have a good sense of these things), then I wouldn't be concerned and think it's a family member or whatnot.

I must admit I would be a little bit scared.. But I agree children normally have a better sense of people/things than adults. I wouldn't worry too much aslong as you're LO isn't stressed or scared in anyway then I'm sure this new friend is fine

Ive actually got a similar thing going on just now and i wish i was as laid back about it as u because its terrifying me, toys going off, jessica waving to the wall, her night show that phsically needs to be switched on going off through the night (oh gets sent in to switch it off) and i have a motion sensore air freshner in the hall which goes off right through the night so lots going on suddenly. tbh if your child isnt bothered and your not i wouldnt be concerned!

my brother does the same, he used to tell us when he was learning how to talk, that his "friend" had taken is toy & he wanted it back, but couldnt find her? and as for the night, he'd wake my mum up standing up in his cot talking to it. It freaked me out alot xx

im not bothered lol as i said men in my family/non-related but classed as family all seem to draw stuff liek this to them..

My little brother had a person who used to sing to him when he cried you could hear it over the monitor.

My dad used to play tug of war with his teddy who had floppy arms with someone and my nan would see the other arm straight out and stiff.

and some other stuff lol

I figure unless you pee a "friend" off your fine really and it/they Obv only want to play/ make Lo smile.

I think it might be more than 1 though.

your so calm about it and u r right in everything your saying, think my imagination runs away with me and i get so jumpy, dont know if u remember the programme starnge but true but i remember an episode about a poltergeist and since then ive been terrified of all that goes bump in the night. Jessica even has a play tent thing in her room and im terrified walking past it in the dark coz i think it must be hiding in there lol ive only got my gg passed away so wont mind if its her as she was lovely. Kx
