does your baby watch tv?

does your baby watch tv?
what programmes?
does it keep them occupied, as in do they sit there watch until its over?
how many hours a day do they watch?
add comment if you like!

ari doesnt watch tv. and i want to get him some cartoons to watch but dont know if he will be interested, he sometimes stares at the tv if it catches his attention but only for 30 seconds and then goes back to playing.

Noah tends to watch the opening and closing credits of things, he must like the familiarity of the music. But he isn't the type to sit for long watching it, although he is half interested in waybuloo and in the night garden, we always let him watch those before bathtime but he still sort of plays while they're on x

My nephew is obsessed and has been from he was very tiny and would like Harveys mum said would peep around you or pull your hand or toys out of the way to see it better!

He ignores everyone around him if there is a tune on that he likes. Especially the insurance one with the red car that beeps.

Jamie wont .. i think its because its on the wall tho, it would hurt his neck to sit and watch it,
My other children watch it for a hour after school (and after homework) unless its sunny and then they play out .. they're not really interested in TV tho either

Harry loves the tv - not kids programmes or anything in particular he just loves the tv no matter what is on he always has done since he was tiny he has always glared at it, when he was younger and non mobile i would turn him away from it but now he will walk up to it and stand there staring at it for AGES!! Im having to limit tv time here now!!!

yes and no. SHe likes the kids prgrammes like Waybuloo, Timmy the sheep, guess with Jess, and in the night garden. she wont sit and watch them - she will be up at the tv talking to them etc.

She is mad about adverts though.

Ryan WILL sit and watch Waybuloo and In the night garden,

but we leave cbeebies on and he will glance now and again at other things,he's more interested in the music on there or music channels, but other than that he's far to interested in his toys!
