I was going to say 3 lol I have the £15 a month contract and it's fab. Rarely go over the limits and never had any probs with them at all. My OH has the £20 contract as well.

Other than that the O2 SIMS with free texts when you top up is probably your best bet.

Most pay as you go on most networks work in the same way. You have to top up by so much before you are entiltled to a text bundle.

When does your contract end? Phones for U currently have an offer to pay so much cash towards your buy out fee depending where you are in your contract.

I have just done this as o2 are being twats so im dropping my tarrif each month until its at the lowest and then going to buy out.

Easiest way to work out your buy out fee on your contract with out calling them is to multiply your tariff by how many months you have left as they cannot include VAT on a buy out.

Phones for U are offering upto £150 cash towards your buyout fee. Might be an easier option in the long run

I'm on O2 - I pay nothing a month for a share of 2000 minutes, 200 texts and data... my old boss let me keep the phone until contract end. Nice bloke...

o2 payg simcards are free from places and for £10 a month you get 300 texts plus £10 of calls... not bad. O2 are generally the best for coverage - 3 use their 2G (GPRS) network outside of the 3G zones..

I'm on O2 and top up £11.99 a month to get 400 texts for 3p each. Also that amount covers the 10 minimum top up to get 500 free minutes from your favourite place (You just tell them a postcode) to any UK landline or other O2 mobile. Also they give you 10% of your top ups back every 2 or 3 months which is normally about £10 for me because I don't top up that much. I hardly use my mobile anymore but when I was using it a lot I was getting about £40 back from them.

They have other price plans though which I think start from about £3.99 where you can get cheaper texts.
