Slightly off topic but there was a woman on MSE who said she had received a substitute..she ordered tampax and got a pack of twix bars! Also we ordered condoms a couple of weeks ago and go them in the security box lol So they obv arent the brightest of the bunch there lol
I would also ring them and complain, you should get your money back and maybe even another free delivery code! x

Must have been a man doing the shopping who thought that if a woman can't have tampax she would probably be ok with chocolate as a substitute.

Yep, there was a whole thread about it where people were saying which random substitutions they had got from asda..some were really strange like they figured that instead of breaded fishcakes someone would be happy with a loaf of bread.. haha

So I emailed Asda and gave them the same example as above. They have refunded 77p. This so wasn't the point of my complaint, I just want my shopping to not be substituted by an idiot and for them to pay attention to multi-save offers.

Next month we are going back to Tesco for online shopping. Not as many multi-saves and probably slightly more expensive, but least we get points and I don't feel like my shopping has been done by an idiot.

Ours dont charge you more, if they substitute with a more expensive product its happy days cos you got a better item!

I ordered a balloon helium canister with my shop one week, cost £20 but they only had the deluxe one in stock (£25) so I got that one for £20!

I love my asda online shop! Always seem to have extra products in it that i didnt ask for and didnt pay for!! hehe!
