Writing your kids name on their clothes...

Just wondering how do you all write your kids names on their clothes? Its my little mans first official day at nursery tommorow and i am supposed to label all of his clothes with his name...iv just put his initials on the labels of all the clothes with a pen however wouldn't a pen wash off when i put his clothes in the wash? Any tips? xx

You can get them labels for clothes, my sister used to have them for her P.E stuff at school. You have to order them and its like stitched on a label and you just sew it on x

I only need to do kierans coats so just use biro. What about buying some of them name tags that you stitch in??

i got mine off ebay they come printed then you just iron them on there great its 1.99 + 99p post and pack but thats for 50

I used to have the name labels you sew on and I'll get some for Ella when she goes to school or kindy.

Yeh we have labels too.. there's a schoolwear shop in my town where we order them from.

We bought Caitlin a uniform to wear at nursery so we didn't have to keep writing her name in all her clothes. Biro works really well to write their names on the tags. Caitlins was wrote on her jumper tag in January and it still hasn't washed off now ... bearing in mind its washed EVERY day lol x
