@ cabbage fart. Hey, I don't mind sitting in bob sleigh eating. Food is comfort. And the fatter we are, the better chance we have to survive arctic temps.

Let me tell you something interesting about the Mayans...

They managed to wipe themselves out by contaminating their only water supply by throwing dead bodies of sacrificed humans into their resevoir.

I refuse to believe any people who are stupid enough to do that!

The way I see it is, we are going on word of mouth, a "feeling"... there is no proof the world will end in 2012. No natural disaster is big enough or bad enough to just wipe us all out in one day. If there is any truth in it at all, which I don't think there is but anyway, there may be something of a large scale that affects a good lot of us, whether it be a pole shift or whatever. The Mayans pretty much predicted the world would end in a "sudden rush of water". They figured this out because they believed their Gods had a cycle and basically, whenever they got bored they would wipe us all out and start from scratch, they think that 2012 will be the begining of this new cycle, the start of a new human race. I don't believe in Gods, especially Gods who get bored and kill everything. That's why they ended up dying off, they were sacrificing humans to the Gods to try and stop them hence posioning their own water

I think we are all pretty safe, don't be cancelling your christmas plans anyway

Oh yeas... see... good survival techniques here too... I think ill charge my mp3 player up too, cant be stuck on a bob sled, under my cabbage fart smelling blankets in a librarry without music eh??
