Breastfeeding mothers are actually covered under the sexual discrimination act, she could sue the driver. When I'm on the main computer and not this phone I'll find the document clarifying this and post it! Unless someone finds it and posts it beforehand!

This is discusting and a complete outrage! If anything like this ever happens to me I wil just explain that they are the ones breaking the law through sexual discrimination and sit and gladly wait for the police to arrive to take THEM down to the station because I will press charges!

This has really annoyed me
That poor woman and her baby!I would have spat at the bus driver as I got off the bus!

Seriously what is wrong with a woman feeding a baby, after all, its natural isn't it? Isn't that what nature intended them for?? Or am I just missing something

I'm sorry but If people don't like it simply don't look!
It's this kind of attitude and ignorance that puts people off BF(me included) especially when there is the need i.e baby screaming because its hungry! Why should we have to feel ashamed of feeding our babies???
GRRR It just annoys me Sorry!!!
Utterly takes the P!!!
I'm sure she was trying to be as discreet as possible too!
We don't deliberatetly expose our selves!!!
x

sadly its only illegal in Scotland atm to stop a woman from breastfeeding her child in public/public transport etc.

First bus should be ashamed that they employ such narrow minded people.
