I'd have told him to go ahead and call the police.

Edit: and let the police explain discrimination to him.

I think I would as well! I'm pretty sure the other passengers would have been completely thrilled that the driver stopped the bus and made them wait for however long it took for the police to get there, find out exactly what the problem was, speak to the poor mother, take statements from people and generally do whatever the procedure is in situations like that instead of just carrying on as if he wasn't bothered and letting them go about their business! I would also bet that if another passenger had made a complaint they'd wish that they hadn't after all of that!

Just told dh... This is now his status on facebook.....

cant believe that a woman in Bristol got booted off a bus into the rain for breast feeding her 6 week old baby!!! Bus driver had complaints about indecent expossure!!! OMG what sort of misserable #@/k would do that!!!

Is it not illegal for the bus driver to do that? Or is that still only Scotland?

I would have called the police as well and refused to move. I used to always feed brandon on the bus, people would have moaned about his screaming if i didnt.

The only thing i ever got was this weird man really really staring, my mum asked him if his view was good enough and he spent the rest of the time looking out of the window lol.

Thats shocking!Maybe he should of been concentrating on driving the bus rather than a young woman feeding her baby!!!
