Ugh!
Supposed to go out for dinner with my friends tonight to celebrate my birthday a few days early.
Well, Dan is at work and, as usual, forgot about the plans. My friend has been calling wondering what time we will be there, I am starving and so tired. I called OH and he said to give him 20 minutes and he will call me to let him know how far he's come as he still has a bit more work to do. Right now it is 6:40 pm
By the time he gets home, showers, and we get out to where we are going (30 minutes away) it will be 8 or 8:30.
I arranged for my neighbors to babysit and I don't want to take advantage of them and have to arrange it for another night. They have enough kids as it is.
So, looks like the night is not going to happen. Men! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Canceled the plans last night but, hey, OH did say sorry so that's a shocker!
Had Kraft Dinner instead of lobster and steak. Really, there is no comparison. LOL
Anyhow, my neighbors next door offered to take care of the kids for Tuesday so looks like we can go out then.
It just was disappointing at the time, yet OH truly needed to finish this job as it went on far too long by our workers and they had screwed up. I knew this and did understand. |
