I'm Currently Feeling: | Any good sites to check broadband speed?? We switched to Virgin a few weeks ago from AOL to try and save some pennies, and it's driving me potty!!!!!
We're paying for the up to 8meg speed, but it's slower than a snail. Seriously, sometimes I can navigate to a new page and sit there looking at a blank page for about 90 seconds! That's one of the reasons that I'm not posting much on here, it's sooooo frustrating!!!!! And if Stu happens to switch the pc on while I'm on the laptop, neither of us can do anything for ages. If Kayleigh switches her laptop on, you can just forget it.
It's not Virgin cable as we haven't got cable in our area, it's just through the BT line......
I used to use a site to check speed and for the life of me I can't remember the site. |

| It's not a bad speed. How much does your internet cost?
This is mine:-
6 meg.
Is meant to be 8 meg but you don't always get a great connection (plus we have more than one computer using the connection which can make a difference). |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have two laptops and a computer on my connection so maybe thats it. Doesn't feel slow to me. I thought it was 8meg, not sure though. It's AOL and £19.99 a month. |

Surprisingly, it's reasonably quick at the minute. I'll test it again when it grinds to a halt later!!! |
