who would've thought that going to the shop for bread, ham and tomatoes would be so eventful?
Well, I certainly didn't! That's for sure!
I nearly get ran over by a learner driver who loses control of the accelerator as the lights turn to red at the crossing.
Then I go into the supermarket, pick up tomatoes and go to get some ham....and the mat in the isle gets caught under my wheelchair, thus hurting me and so forth. 10 mins later and I'm free again.
They only have crappy mechanically reclaimed ham left, - as if I'm gonna eat that! So, I decide, 'enough is enough' and go down to Subway.
Well, the mario cart doesn't go into subway - there's a step. So, I wait hoping that someone will notice me, when a 15 year old charva girl who is either drunk on dodgy beer or smacked up asks me if I'm ok. I ask her if she's mind going into Subway and asking one of the people to come out and serve me....so she does...and has a full blown kick off with the staff!
Imagine a very charva-y geordie accent from a girl who is under the influence of something... "here, will ya came and F***ing serve this lady? She's been sat here for ages and you haven't served her. She's sat out here in a f***ing wheelchair and you f***ing lot haven't served her. I've been up and down this street 4 f***ing times while she's been waiting to be f***ing served" and so forth (I'd been there about 2 minutes! lol)
So, then a customer comes out and asks what I want.... I reply that I'd like to be served whilst sarcastically wondering if his questioning is an offer to pay for my order in some bizarre way
So, the staff
all come outside for my order! Then told me that it's not on that they don't have access and to complain! (err what am I doing huni?!) Then one of them asks if my feet are cold cause I have no shoes on

and this charva girl is still stood there trying to babysit me!
She goes away eventually and two guys come upto me (one of the members of staff is at the door talking to me) ad does his best "poor little cripple, are you ok?" impression asking if I'm ok etc obviously.
Finally get my sandwich....but not before one of the staff offers me their managers home number to call and kick off about lack of disabled access!
OMG! Most eventful sandwich I've had in a long time!
