Oh I know hun - I was still sad to read you had been through this as with anyone who has suffered at the hands of what life can be so cruel to throw our way x

ok i watched it just because curiosity at how they handled it took over !!

It was very hard to watch and it must be dreadful for anyone who has been through it to watch it !

I do agree it raises awareness but at 7.30 pm i wouldnt want my child to watch something as distressing as that !

When i watch tv it's the time i relax when the kids are in bed, and soaps in particular are what i normally enjoy. We live in a world where terrible things happen all the time, we see this every day on the news or in the papers.
I know soaps try to mimic real life, but i think when lifes cruellist thing (a mothers loss of her child) is used as a cynical attempt to boost viewing figures then it is just plain wrong. We all know that some babies do not survive their time in the womb, especially as i have been reading this forum it has made me realise just how fragile life really is. I guess what i am trying to say is that life is cruel enough without the soaps exploiting this!!
