One of my cats is super ugly but my mum went round her friends house and it was staring at her so she bought it home.. I wasn't sure what the hell she was thinking, its ears were bigger than its body!

I love her now though.

I adopted mine as well...
Oz ( boxer/shepherd) was a month old country pup but family was moving to a small apartment.
Molly was an escape artist that was kept in back yard all day until OH ( also dog catcher for that town) picked her up.....took to shelter and we adopted her after 2 week wait.
My 2 kitties are also from humane society...
I am a firm believer in spaying or neutering pets. To many kitties and pups and not enough homes. ( well I have room for 2 more dogs) hahahaha

Cider is a rescue dog, and the best tempered dog in the world - my mum's fosterkids used to pick her back legs up and wheelbarrow her round till they got caught!!!!! She shattered at the moment though - 3 hour walks whilst were away, she's just too old.

Also, the reason I choose her was that she was the ugliest dog there!!!! I love her though

I'm always looking through dog rescue pages and thinking how I want almost all of them. I especially love Jack Russels. First I want some Guinea Pigs though.
