I think curved is easier, I've got flat GHD ones and they NEVER do the curling job right. xxx

im a hairdresser and i always used to curl with the flat GHD's, but since the rounder Barrel GHD's came out i use them and they are alot better than the flatter ones, but either way u can still curl with both, rounder just makes it alot easier xx

hmmmm I'm on the lookout for a pair of straighteners for my birthday but GHD's are WAYYYYYY outa the price range hubby is looking at, theres a good pair of babyliss straighteners on offer on amazon but they're flat..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...=hotukdeals-21

But then there are these...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-208...405114&sr=1-11

I dont know which would be better for straightening and curling...? I dont trust the name to presume that the 'straight and curl' wouldn actually be better lol!

I always straighten my hair first then bring it down to the bottom of the hair and wrap it around the irons til you get to your scalp hold for about 10 secs and then release the hair and unwrap the curl the other way around and the spray hairsrpay for hold, thats how i've always done it, if that makes sense? xxx

I do it with flat ones. Get a section of hair put it in the straighteners and then wrap it back over the straighteners (round them) towards your head. Then slowly pull the straighteners down the hair as you usually would!x

chuck i would get the seconds ones, ive never had babyliss but the seconds ones have a rounder barrel and will be better for curling, but will do exactly the same job at straightening.

dee rda, literally its like doing curly ribbon, start at the top of your head and twist it like half way then just pull down slowy, so your just turning the straighteners at the top and just pulling down with the straightener turned, and dont clamp the straighteners too hard or it will drag, then just let go and u shud have a nice curl sorry its hard to explain on here! lol

ive never wrapped them round cos if u do it this way there really is no need and it just takes longer. hope ive helped but im abit useless at explaingin things! lol xx
