Okay, my interview for the assistant animal control position is tomorrow. I'm 32 1/2 weeks pregnant. NONE of my interview clothes fit me, obviously. I bought this outfit a few weeks ago, when I applied for the job, just in case...thank goodness I did. The interview is with the town's First Selectman and the ACO, being held in the Town Hall. My Mom keeps telling me that I should wear the top of the outfit, but then wear my jeans on the bottom cause it's an 'animal job'. I think that seeing as I'll be IN town hall and meeting a town official I should wear the black pants. It's true that every other animal job I've applied for, and gotten, I've worn a nice shirt and jeans (don't wanna be too dressy when applying for a messy job, right?), but none of those interviews was for a city job. It was for a pet store and a vet assistant. What do y'all think I should do? Jeans or black pants? Oh, and I'm wearing my new, lace-less black sneakers (they're nice) cause heels would make me fall and break my neck right now. Thanks for the help!

I'd go with the black pants myself, never hurts to be a little dressier.

Stay away from jeans. Black pants and a nice top is the way to go!

Thanks y'all. I thought the black would be more appropriate..not sure WHY my Mom thinks jeans would be. I just hope the fact that I'm this far along doesn't dissuade them from hiring me (cause that would be illegal!)
