I'm Currently Feeling: | make pretty crop tops and pretty training bras etc, but not push up bras for children...or thongs!
I don't think high heels are good on children either, - a small heel is fine but nothing more than that.
I dunno, maybe I shouldn't complain, not as if I have any cause to I guess. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Iam100% against clothes that make children lookolder then they are, especially those slogany tops and thongs. However I have seen these bras and to be honest don't think they are along the same lines. First of all they are nothing like a wonderbra or a padded bra, the cups are like the ones you get on a t-shirt bra, so you get a smooth appearance iykwim (alot nocer then my first bra which was a lacy nightmare and you could see it through my clothes). I can't see any 7 year old just buying one unless they need the support, how can they push nothing up. Think this particular story is media hype personally. | | | | Status: Offline

My sisters Mum has an older daughter they had a friends kiddie go missing she was abused, killed and I believe thrown in the river yet sisters daughter was running around (just like this kid was) til silly hours see through white hipsters & f'ing thongs on (she was early teen)! Mothers a tramp but I think its bad paranting just because shes a dog. I don't have much to do with my sister yet but when she comes to understand if I ever see her allowed to wear such clothes I'll be going off my damn nut! | | | | Status: Offline

| If a company WAS marketing a bra that made a 7 year old look like she had big boobs then sure, that'd be worth a few complaints, but when I saw these bra's in Tesco I noticed the smallest size they do is 30A - nowhere on the hanger or label does it say "for 7 year olds." I don't now about your 7 year olds but even if my 8yo put on a 30A bra it would have a job staying on their frame. So it's pretty clear that Tesco have not in any way made a "padded bra for seven year olds" as is claimed. In fact if you put your fingers on them, they have less padding than many bra's not marketed as "padded" - it's about 2 millimetres thick, if that. I think people get a little carried away with these things these days. Probably Tesco will end up having to destroy all these "30A and up" size bra's at a loss of thousands of pounds, and yet many shops will still be selling 28AA's and nobody will bat an eyelid.
Come on, let's have some perspective here: It's NOT for seven year olds despite what the media hysterics would like you to believe, and it's hardly even padded. The only thing that could even be considered slightly suggestive about it is that the middle is a little low, but I've seen similar "bikini" shaped tops marketed even for babies, and everyone just goes "Aww, how cute."
Again, perspective is the key. That and actually looking at the thing to see what all the fuss is about, before joining the angry mobs.
