GP Prescription for weightloss pills?

Anyone been prescribed them before?
Does anyone have any suggestions on any way i can
get a prescription from my GP?
I tried about 5 months ago for some but she would not prescribe me
any and told me i shouldnt be on a diet i should just eat when im
hungry 5 small meals aday i think she said well i did that and it didnt
stick with me for long i just didnt seem to lose the weight i was 14stone 2lbs
when i went to see my GP and now i am 13stone 9lbs not much of a loss
for 5 months! im thinking about going back and asking again as i am trying to
eat more healthy i would just like a little help to it as its not coming off
as easy as it did before i had my daughter.

IDK hun but I'm gonna watch this.. in my experience they are really reluctant to prescribe pills and would prefer you lose it through diet and exercise, just dieting isn't enough for most people to have good lasting results.

I was prescribed some while I was waiting for my fertility treatment. They didn't really have much time to work as as soon as i started the treatment, i had to stop them. I don't think my GP would have prescribed them if i was your weight as I think you have to have a BMI over 35

I am very over weight and the GP would not give me diet pills until I lost 10 % of my body weight, that was a year or so ago, I am doing it without it now x

I was on emmasdiary last night and a user off it told me
i would not be prescribed any atm seeming as my LO is not a year old?

the first time i visited my GP she didnt tell me the reason i couldnt have the pills
was cause my LO was to young she just said i could do it myself so bit confused with what that user told me anyways lol..

but im not bothering with the pills now it's to much hassle my GP will only keep on
saying to me i can do it on my own and she just pisses me of when she does lol
i will just be doing a food replace diet next week wish me luck for it

thanks for all the help girls
