She's forever locking peoples threads just because 172 months ago someone else posted something remotely similar. Only certain people are allowed to post links. She contradicts herself, with every second word she types

why can't all forums be nice like here?

I've noticed the same thing with other forums as well! There are so many that have mods who abuse their power and alot with members who can be just mean and act like any question asked is a stupid one.

Made me realize how rare ones like this are! We should count ourselves lucky

I certainly do.

It seems to be the most vulnerable people who get targeted by the idiot mods too, whether it's the mod being a numpty themselves, or not doing what a mod should do when the most vulnerable people are having abuse from some idiot.

Im a bit of a cow but hey its works when people need put in their place and blunt when they break the rules try to spam their websites as someone elses lol

In fact above all that Im a customer services rep from hell

it's a disability forum - and the mods have major attitude problems

there's nothing wrong with a good mod, but she's not even that....nor is the other one. It's like they have super PMT constantly....bugger normal PMT, they have it supersize!

Why the hell do they lock/remove posts from reg.none spamming members? What kind of things/topics are they doing that to?

there's a forum that can't be viewed by the general public, you have to ask for access to view it and so forth.

Anyway, there's someone asking a question, wanting advice in that board, but someone had asked a similar question on an open board viewable by the public months ago, so she locked the thread and told them to post there!!

I mean, they obviously want to ask in confidence, hence posting where they did! - and they were asking for advice for them, not someone else several months ago - it was about a personal relationship!! THEIR personal relationship!

I was on this board for a band that I liked and I posted my scan photos when I had them done. On the whole people were really nice and said congrats and stuff, but there was a few members who came in and started making really nasty offensive jokes about miscarriage and still birth. I thought it was completely off, and sent a message to a mod to say I was really offended and upset (and I dont get offended by much!) and all I got back was a reply saying 'It was just a joke, lighten up, he didn't mean any harm'.

Needless to say I havent been back.

Tbh, this is probably the only forum I use now because of the nice atmosphere. We're very lucky!
