Is it true that you can use money off coupons at Asda even if you dont buy the product?

I was just checking through my Bounty pack and there is loads of vouchers so I thought excellent take them to Asda at the next big shop we do!

No idea, i think maybe if you do a big enough shop and hand the vouchers at the end the checkout person might not notice if youve bought the product or not.

Not tried it though.
