Returning earings?

Can you take back earings ? I didnt give it a second thought but then my aunty said you cant take them back once youve brought them for hygiene reasons?

no i am afraid unless faulty you will not be able to return earrings

i work in a clothes store that sells jewelery and the only way you can return earrings is if there faulty or if you just bought them like a half hour before

the only place you can take them back that i know is ernest jones and thats cos they ve brought out speacil bags that seal if the seals not broke you can take them back but everywhere else you cant! x

Nope, for hygeine reasons..

I once bought OHs mum some earrings and necklace for her BD only to be told she doesn't have peirced ears

took em straight back to shop 1hr later, they wouldnt take em... pfft. Were still in original packaging!

Yeah i didnt even thinkabout it!

I went to newlook yesterday and couldnt choose which jewellery i wanted so i picked loads of different bits and did not even think about the price and nearly died when i saw i spent nearly £50

so i was hoping i could just choose what jewellery i liked best with my dress and take the rest back !! oh dear.
