missed a pill....

Not sure where im meant to put this but......last week i missed a pill (microgynon 30) but didn't think much of it, as been on it for so long that i know exactly what to do and have stopped panicking if i forget it, i just took the one i forgot and carried on.....well i was too relaxed about it and forgot that we meant to use a diff method of contraception for 7 days after and on day 5 we had unprotected sex

It wasn't till the day after that i realised and have really worried since

Common sense tells me that i wasn't ovulating and it was on day5 so the chances of pregnancy are much lower but there is always that chance.......
just wish i could stop worrying

how long was it after your period that you missed the pill?

cause she say you had unprotected sex day 5 whuch was 5 days after the missed pill right?

Yea 5 days after the missed pill-im due on this week sometime......praying for a period.......rarity on here really huh.

well you could have been around ov days im hoping for you that you get af...... its nt that a rarity it just most people on here are actually wanting to get pregnant and not really praying for af to lol.... but there are some who are trying so you might get another reply hun finger x'd you get a period xxx

Thankyou for replying........if someone else had posted this and i read it i dont think id know what to say-so im surprised you replied at all!Theres really nothing anyone can do...including myself, i think i just wanted to share my worries x

When I was on the pill my doc said if I ever missed a day to just take it and one day wouldn't matter... but even if not I'm sure you're still ok. good luck!

to actually be fair i would say 1 day can matter and might not although your pill info will state you have 36 after the last pill to take the next so miss a day and 12 hours left to take it lol xx

i was on mircogyon 30 before falliing pregnant, i was told if you missed one but took every other one youd be covered? Maybe i misundersttod(and im clearly not a good perosn to ask

)

hope you get your af hun

if you forget your pill often though maybe look at other methods such as an IUD or injection?
