I thought at the very least they would replace the whole cot or send vouchers to the value of the cot, and as I say that's at the very least

these are the emails...(start at the bottom lol) ive not put all mine in but
u shud get jist 4m this ...
Thanks for coming back to me so promptly.

Several of us have looked at these pictures, and frankly to be honest we
have never seen anything like it before! Clearly the cot is no longer
covered by the guarantee, and we can see no evidence of a manufacturing
fault, however as a customer service goodwill gesture I have arranged
for a left hand end to be sent to you.

Dear Mrs McLaren
Thank you for providing this information.
just another couple of questions: Is it only one end of the cot which
is affected? As you stand with the drop side of the cot facing you, is
it the left hand or right end which is broken?

hi checked on cot base and is a "sabrina", hope this helps!

We have been unable to identify this cot, I would appreciate it if
you could look under the cot base. On our cot bases there is a white sticker that should have the name of the cot printed upon it.
I hope to hear from you in the very near future to resolve this
matter.

Can you please advise where you purchased the cot from and when?
It is important that you attach the pictures again when replying,
and also please ensure that all previous e mails are attached to
your reply.

please find attatched picture of cot as i found it.

Dear Ms McLaren

Thank you for your e mail.
I was sorry to hear of the problems you have experienced with
your cot.
Can you please send pictures, and advise how long you have had
the cot
and where it was purchased from?

: i have a mamas and papas cot and it has literally jist
fallen 2 pieces with my daughter in it, i have a photo... i am
disgusted.

I don't think that is acceptable at all. Your LO could have been seriously hurt. How can you feel safe putting her in another cot. I would at very least expect a replacement or vouchers to purchase another one. I would go to trading standards, local press even threaten them with watchdog they'd have field day. Small children at risk from injury while they sleep due to faulty cot.

How about somethimg along the lines of.......

I am frankly disgusted with the offer of a replacement side to the cot. I have lost all confidence in this product and am very worried about placing a small child to sleep in this cot. I feel at the very least this cot should be replaced. If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction I will be contacting my local trading standards office as I do not feel these goods are fit for the purpose intended. I await your prompt response.
