Ah, I think what you did was lovely and the other girls are right, they'll remember that more than some person moaning. Regardless of who was to blame, they were out there fixing it, not her!

If I've read correctly the workmen are not the ones who caused the problem - they had to shut off the power to deal with a fault therefore they were just fixing an existing fault. They were hardly going to work with live power and kill themselves. Some people deserve a smack in the face. Its good they came out a fixed the problems in this freezing weather!

since we are on the kindness talk heres what happened today:
i was driving on a busy road,and its awfuly difficult for a car to get into this road from the side, so i stopped and let 2 cars get into it, heres what the drivers did:
a) the second before i let him out in front of me he was making hand gestures at everyone else meaning what the hell and he was frustrated and angry,after i let him pull into the road he didnt even glance at me and sped off..
b) he looked directly into my eyes mouthed thank you so much and banged his hand on his chest that i think means well done e.t.c

and i was smiling as i drove off to my destination (bank,blah)
the moral of this story is that if one out of 2 are kind then its the kindness you remember!

sorry for hijacking but i love reading stories like this so tought maybe someone else would too..and didnt want to make a whole othr post.. eek sorry!
