| Anyhow, we laid down the law and absolutely no one is to come here with him or know our address. If anything goes missing or something happens, it will fall on his shoulders.
It went fairly well but will see. Trouble is, he is reliable and whenever I need him, he's here, even on a weekend.
He's not a scary fellow and I know would never hurt me or harm me so I am not scared of him. He does respect me a lot. But I don't want his loser friends here at all or any of them knowing where we live.
I learned a very long time ago that you cannot make a person quit drugs, etc. They must have the willingness. Unfortunately, for this guy, he's 55 and been on speed for 30 years. It's his ultimate choice but I will not allow it to affect my family, the other family here, etc. |
