so ages ago i posted about supporting me with getting my drivers, i eventually started taking lessons and have had about 10 so far. i still havent taken the theory test and had a bit of a set back because i was going to take it in English and now the whole thing has been changed and for the moment taking the test in English where i live has been canceled. im capable of taking it in the language where i live, but its just a pain in the behind. they are going to put the English option back but they cant tell me when and i cant just wait around until they do, so i have to read the book in the other language and just make sure im familiar with the terms. o well its not like i dont know the information because i already learned it in English. Bureaucracy!
anyway so far the actual driving has been going okay, its hard to sit for an hour and 20 min each time as i am doing double lessons but im really trying hard. i live in a big city with lots of narrow roads and very aggressive drivers and its not so easy, but thats the reality so i just have to deal with it. i have a lovely teacher who is totally committed to helping me do this before baby arrives. so hopefully we will succeed. i gotta do minimum 28 lessons but it seems that most ppl do a few more, its so expensive but i know it will be worth it in the end.
right back to the theory book now.. just wanted to update!
