Ok first of all i've been fully aware smarties have changed their packaging.
AG bought me a smarties easter egg today and i decided to have a pack of smarties smarties are same as the old what i dont get is where did the letter go that was part of the fun especiialy for young kids learning the alphabet, i'm guessing its another case of heath and safety gone mad due to kids swallowing the lids, i mean fair enough make the packaging safer but surely they could have incorparated the letters in somehow

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Stopped them LONG ago! They were doing a promotion when they did get 4 lids diff colour send them in and you got free sweets, activities, mug, bag etc for older children! |

As you may know, smarties tubes will disappear in the summer and to commemorate this Nestle have released a 'final edition' with 5 limited edition coloured lids. Send in just TWO of these lids to receive a generous goodie bag comprising a smarties finger twister game, a smarties book, a smarties mug and two new 'Hexatube' packs. NB - offer is ONLY on the limited edition coloured lids - standard orange ones don't count! There is nothing on the tubes to indicate the offer, I saw it mentioned on the outer carton that had been left on the shelf in Woolworths and the only sign on the tubes themselves is that they don't have the usual orange lids. Woollies also have the tubes on offer at the moment - 5 for £1 instead of 40p each. Max 1 goodie bag per person!
