I know you have made Nigella's brined turkey before, it's currently in the bucket but I'm wondering if I need to also put butter under the skin when I cook it tomorrow or will it be moist enough as it is? | Mum (Mom) BnB Spammer Elite  Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 32,811 | I'm not, hun. She makes a baste with maple syrup and butter and just before you put it in the oven you mix the butter and syrup together and pour it over and it gives you liquid to baste too  HTH! |
