you get the train from new street (the mainone) to birmingham international, and its a short walk from there (all sign posted)

i might be going but will miss you all as am going on the sunday as its when you get all the best bargains. love the baby show

Who is going by rail and to what station?

Am I right in thinking I need to book the train to the Birmingham Newstreet Station?

How do you get from the station to the NEC

as what i read on the website dosent make sense or it dosent to me any way

What time are you all planning to arrive in Birmingham and what time do you plan to leave

Just as it takes me 3 hours on the train there and 3 hours on the way back.

Soooo I'll possibly look at arriving at 08:30 (My neighbours will think ive wet the bed getting up so early)

and train back about 6-pm... Maybe half past incase I get lost. and if i dont then at least I can have a coffee.

I used to get the train from Durham to Birmingham quite a lot coz my ex lived there. Make sure you get a straight through train because otherwise it's a total nightmare and takes forever.

I am going to go with my mate if you would like to catch a lift with me :-). I will be close to my due date mind... if you dont mine the risk of me popping on you :-)... and theres spending a long car journey with 2 strangers!

Actually guys I have decided to be a realist. I am not going to go as we only fly in from Majorca the evening before in which I would then need to get settled only have afew hours sleep before having to get back up to hop on the train.

If it wasnt for being so close to the holiday I would have DEFINATELY come...

Sorry to be such a bore... But next time... again providing its not a tad bad timimg (by no fault of any ones) then count me in.
