I'm Currently Feeling: | They may be a good idea. Tend to wrap celotape around my hand but not a perfect job done. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I can't remember the names of any products but when I was working in a pet shop they sold several different cat repelents. I'm sure if you go into a fairly large shop like pets at home they'll have several. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Cant imagine the problems you have with a long haired cat, though my place gets bad after a few days with two short haired animals.
I have a turbo tool for my furniture but its not ideal for everyday use, my hoover is a pain to drag out and use the tools bit. |

But like anita said I'm sure most of the pet shops sell several varieties, including the bitter apple spray |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Whole oranges and orange peel is good. When i has my cat i used to keep them on the edge of my kitchen sideboard as didnt want him up there with germs etc. They let off some kind of almost invisible mist/powder. When you peel one you might see the mist if you look closely.
The other thing is flat tin foil, they cant stand the reflection and the noise....try laying it on the sofa out flat until they get the idea. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know it sounds kind of mean, but it really works. My friend trained her cat this way.... Just take a regular old spray bottle, and fill it with water, make sure the spray nozzle is on spray, and not mist, so you can spray it far, and each time you catch your cat jumping up on the sofa, just give em a quick spray, and he will move... after just a couple days of doing this your kitty should get the idea... also works well to keep cats from clawing funiture, and doing other things that they are not allowed to do. |
