Now you try being in my shoes working in a main branch post office on some inbred island and having to tell 50 people a day how much its gonna cost them!!!

or they pay the 7 quid check and send and i tell them that the passport office is just going to send it back for all the mistakes in it and they need to do section la la la again and the photos arn't right or they forgot to put miss on the back of the photo or they cant get away with a short birth certificate they need a long one or they need an accompanying LS01 form or they have a fringe in their eyes or whatever then they start swearing at me and and tell me to send it anyway even though they are travelling in 3 weeks time!!!!
rant rant rant.....3 weeks till i go on 2 weeks of holiday time then maternity.....woohoo!!

The prices are shocking Char - I remember when Ky was born and if we would have got his passport done straight away it would have only been £27. In the end we didn't get round to it until he was about 18 months, by then it was £45 - And thats only for 5 years!
