Thanks everyone. I guess it all feels a little unreal that this could be happening again. Hopefully they will run more tests and find out that either 1) she doesn't have cervical cancer or 2) it's in the very early stages and easily treatable.

So sorry Vickie. In some ways I can relate to you. My mum suffered from Cervical cancer in 1998, she still has to go for regular check ups in Leeds, she even had to have the lump sent off to America when they removed it as consultants in England did not know what type of cancer it was. It was a very scary time for me & my family and fingers crossed for her all clear in a few years.
