Carphone warehouse- updated with another question

if i buy a phone from carphone warehouse, you can put a sim in no matter what the network cant you?? Im sure there phones are unlocked but just want to check

Other question - You know carphone warehouse you can trade in items well do you know if you can only trade in one item at a time or if you can trade in a couple at a time?

i have no idea, i would guess it depends on the phone/original network/contract or paygo hun coz i know we have bought from various places and got an unlocked phone, but with orange they have always been locked

you could alwyas unlock it once you have bought it, but be wary of doing that as it can invalidate the warranty on the phone

Yep

unless the phones branded so is stamped with a particular network but 99% of the time unless the phone is exclusive to a certain network it'll be unlocked if bought from Carphone.

Yeah I think so hun,like MrsBop says if they arent branded then they should be unlocked from Carphone,like the Tocco I bought off so far i have tried and had sucess with orange,o2 and vodafone (think you tried that one)networks.x

Just to let you know I have had nothing but trouble with carphone warehouse! They even cancelled the insurance on my iphone without telling me.

lucky you, for the last year they have been taking £70 p.month from my bank for phones i no longer have!
