What would be your ideal evening now?

Mine is streching over the couch reading a book or watching a movie...or meeting my friends on the weekend...or coming to the forum(posting stupid threads like this)...

Do we get boring or just change our priorities?

Ideal evening: dinner on the couch with OH while watching some tv, then lie on the couch and watch some tv shows or movies. Some B&B time as well (love the forum)

I just don't see the point in going out anymore... Of course I enjoy a nice evening at the movies or some shopping, but not going out til late with friends. I much rather be home now!

When pregnant the ideal evening was one that I managed to get some decent sleep

Sitting down playing xbox live hahah my OH loves it and has me on it now. We have crisps and dip night with a army game shooting people lol not the most romantic but its fun and OH loves it that i can join in hehe.

Im even better then him now at it

For me it's probably watching TV with OH too. I'd love to be able to go out sometimes though but not like I used to.

Last years Valentine's Day present!
DF booked a suite in a posh hotel for just the two of us, he got me some strawberries in champagne jelly (delicious), and other yummy treats.
The suite had a jacuzzi and the silly man thought you had to put something in the jacuzzi to make bubbles and tipped a whole travel bottle of bubble bath in the jacuzzi. There were bubbles everywhere but it was a lot of fun.

oh,that sounds so sweet.Once again confirms my theory that your husband is a wonderful man...

Wish I could go back to last September!

I planned a big surprise for hubby and he knew nothing about what was going to happen.

I booked a nice hotel room about 15 minutes from where we live. Anyhow, he knew I had a surprise but didn't know what it was. I packed up a suitcase for us, his suit, bought a nice dress and stashed it in the back of my truck.

When the day arrived I told him that I had to go and get a few things and that I'd be back by 4:30 p.m. During that time I set up the hotel room, left a cassette player with a cassette that I had recorded a love note, put some notes around to meet me here at such and such a time.

At 4:30 I had a limo pick him up from our house to bring him to the hotel room. I was getting my hair done at a salon when he arrived at the hotel. This gave him time to change into his suit, listen to the cassette recording and read my note to meet me in the lounge of the hotel at 5:30.

He absolutely loved the surprise! We had a few drinks, a lovely dinner, had a jacuzzi bath and the rest is TMI for all of you

If I could turn back the time to that night

It was our first night without the kids so it was a nice break.

I would love to just do something relaxing with DH, hes so stressed with work I wish I had the $$ and time to go somewhere really relaxing.
