single-handedly carpet, decorate and move into their new bungalow??
It was bloody hard work; it involved a total deep-clean of every room in the house, buying, cutting and laying carpets, shopping for everything we needed, assembling all the furnature that came flat-packed, pencil-pleating and hanging curtains, and everything bloody else that needed doing day-to-day... and general living on top of that! There was a moment where it got me very down and I wondered if we could do it (related thread:
Rant) But, together, we have,
finally, done it. We are 100% moved in

(All the baby stuff is in a cupboard if you're wondering - I'm actually quite impressed that I managed to fit everything in one cupboard - that's everything - bath, moses basket, cot, clothes, toys.... everything! lol)
We're ready for baby now, but I think we'll enjoy living in the bungalow by ourselves as a couple for a while first
Either way, everything is perfect and I am on cloud 9
