that is disgusting! I really hope your mum is ok. I would have suggested the papers too but you have said your mum does not wnat to do that. I would def take it further though, it seems in the letter they sent they are implying it is your mums fault which is so rude! What about going to the citizens advice buero (sp) and they could advise on what further action to take?

Hope you get some compensation other that a crappy letter.

I'd take this incident to the press, I think behaviour like this needs to be highlighted. The manager was clearly very unprofessional and by the sounds of it a bit of a know-it-all and his 'version' of the events is referred to in the letter of apology as a way of refuting your mum's version. I'd be extremely annoyed and insulted by this and have no hesitation in taking the issue further so this man can be appropriately reprimanded for his actions. Personally I think his behaviour warrants a demotion from such a role at the very least. xx

I think more does need to be said to the higher powers that be, letter to the CEO and disability groups would be good to make this matter more aware.

I went into my local wetherspoons at stafford last week to use the baby change (i.e. the disabled loo) and it was discusting with nowhere to sit, a loo with no lid and 'splatters' all over it. That food chain need to really buck their ideas up!

Send a photo of what the dog was wearing to the chain, and see how they can explain that it 'wasn't obvious' get the hearing dogs trust involved too. don;t let it pass. what if it happens to someone else who didnt have the back up of someone else.
