It's not about child abuse so the comparison isn't fitting. Something doesn't have to be child abuse to be inappropriate. There's nothing wrong with showing people the way they really look, including babies, and I don't think falsifying the way people look in photos is a harmless activity. In fact, quite the opposite.

The reference to child abuse wasnt a comparison, it was to point out that they way some people carry on you'd think it was, touching up a picture is hardly as "vile" and "disgusting" as some people are making it out to be

Saying ''it's just a pic, it's not child abuse'' is saying ''it's just a pic, it's not (like it's) child abuse''. Which is a comparison, by definition. But I get the point you're trying to convey in any case. Think it's just one of those things people will agree to disagree about, and so, to each their own!

It's not just a picture of a frog, a car or a leaf. It's not something and nothing. It's a picture of a baby.

The point is, it's the message behind airbrushing the picture. It was fine as it was, wasn't it? It's the suggestion that babies would be better if they were skinnier. It doesn't have to be abuse to be morally questionable.

Come on girls not everyone is going to agree

I dont agree with it but I accept that others have a different opinion. If every one agreed the world would be a very dull place

Aw yeah but if we all went "Yes, I see your point. Thanks for your input" We'd never have debate. I can see that other people feel differently, of course, but I don't let that get in the way of chucking my two cents in

Im all for a good debate, gives you something to read over a

As its stands im fine with "touch ups" but dont agree with drastically changing someones appearance through it to the point of being misleading
