The back story: My Mom had to move suddenly and needed to find a place for 3 of her cats. DH and I volunteered to foster them before we found out I was pregnant. We found a home for one of them, but the other two we've been having a harder time with. They're great cats adn I love them, but they've been living in our nursery..in the CRIB for that matter (must be comfy!) and they won't come out of the room very often...and our cats HATE them, even though it's been since September.

I found a shelter today that can take them. I REALLY don't want to let them go, but I know I have to. DH just loaded them up and is bringing them, cause I wouldn't be able to leave. They were yowling in their carriers and I feel AWFUL about it. I wish we could've kept them, but being in the nursery all the time they weren't getting the kind of attention they deserved or wanted, and I know that...I KNOW this place will be able to find them a new forever home and if they can't they can stay there the rest of their lives. It's really a neat place, but I feel so BAD that I couldn't find them a home or give them one here. All I can do is cry and DANGIT I hate this.

That must be really hard for you. But you did try to integrate the cats into your household with your other cats, sometimes it just doesn't work out

As a fellow animal lover I can imagine how you're feeling. You have done your best for them I'm sure they will be happy and loved in their new homes xXx

Im sorry That is a very hard choice to make. Im sure those kitties will find a loving home and get the kitty love they need. Im sure they got all that kitty loven from you, but as you have said, they live in the nursery and once the baby arrives, where will they go Sometimes the right choice is the hardest choice.

Don't be too hard on yourself. You have tried, at least you have taken them to a shelter to be cared for and rehomed not like some losers who just dump them anywhere. I love my dogs so know how tough it must be for you.

Aaaah that must be really hard for you to do. But you did your best in having them at yours, but sometimes these things just don´t work out. At least you know that this place will be able to rehouse them somewhere decent.

Thanks everyone. DH brought them and said it was a really nice place. They are going to make sure they find a home together, which is nice since they're sisters. He said the women that run it were really nice and Panda and Target were loving up on them already. I'm glad it's a nice place, but I still feel really guilty.
