Lego help - Starwars

DH has mentioned a few times how he can't wait until Sofia can play with lego so he can play with it, seeing as he'll be waiting a while I thought I'd get him a box of his own for his birthday!

He likes Starwars, and aeroplanes. The airport lego is waaay too expensive. Can anyway tell me which Starwars one looks good? I don't like Starwars and have no idea!! I was looking on amazon.

Thank you

Hmmmm...I thought with the thread title you might be referring to the xbox game of Lego Star Wars..hahaha....but on the subject of Stars Wars and legos themselves, afraid I don't have a specific suggestion. All I can say is my 6 year old son creates a lot of very cool Star Wars ships and whatnot with his regular set of legos...

My DH is obsessed with Lego again. He used to love it as a boy and now we've got our little man on the way he's started to "collect" it again He's been getting old stuff off ebay though for mere pounds, even pennies and he's been perfectly happy with that. Apparently you can no longer buy lego in just random bits where you can choose what you want to build, they come in specific builds, like the star wars ones.
I bought him this SW spaceship thing that was about £60 and, although he was grateful, he said it just wasn't the type of lego he's interested in so i took it back. Waste of money really, so now he just collects big mixed bags of it off ebay, washes it and builds what he wants. Boys and their toys eh!!

DH is a big Starwars fan so I asked him and he said "all of them" He did finally tell me though that he had an R2D2 lego set that he really liked

Ha ha Vickie!

Boys and their toys indeed, last Christmas I got him a Starwars lightsabre and my family looked on very bemused as he excitedly realised what was in the box! My mum was just like "so it lights up and makes noise, then what??"

I can imagine DH being the same about wanting random bits to build rather than sets... but I wouldn't know where to start. I might get him a couple of little boxes, surely then they can be mixed and joined..?

I bought OH a lego keyring from the official site.. you can get Star Wars themed ones too.. like the little lego men. I also got him a lego ice cube tray, in the shape of lego bricks. Also.. I don't know if it's still there, but you can get lego wrapping paper from the site just mentioned. It's on sale for about 99p or something silly, and it's pretty good quality paper, with 2 gift tags.
