Ebay- Someone returning to me help?

A woman bought some shoes from me over two weeks ago, and they were sent by recorded delivery, so she recieved them on the 6th Nov. Now she has emailed me today saying she wants to return them and I have a bit of a problem with it because a) I say in the listing that I only accept returns if they get in touch within 7 days of recieving the item; b) she sent a message with the return request which I thinkwas quite rude- she said they were in totally unwearable condition (total lie, I tell the truth 100% when I put something on and you can even see from the pics they are pristine) and that she has messaged me several times with no reply- I haven't recieved one email!

Not sure what to do to be honest, I've never been in this situation before. What would you do?

Noo dont let her return it! You clearly stated that you only accept returns if they contact you within 7 days, so she can't, simple as! She sounds like a stupid cow! And yeah she's probably ruined it herself! x

Ask for pictures of the problems, then you decide.

If you decline she will more than likely open a dispute and will have to send them back to you trackable and then PP will refund her.

Dont offer her any partial refund. She does sound like a bit of a con artist thou.

V xxxx

No hun, dont let her return them..She sounds like a con artist like the others have said.

You've stated the rules and if she wants to return something a few weeks later, then i think its tough shit lol

TBH I think no matter what you do, you've lost the shoes and your money - if you acceptthe return, they're probably damaged. If you don't, paypal will take the side of the buyer as it seems to be their policy now, and they'll refund her anyway.

Not what you want to hear, I know.

Personally, I say put up a fight and don't accept the refund. Ask for pictures and refer her to yours again.

I'll email her asking for proof of the damage and see if they match mine. Just realised though that one minute after she asked for a refund she went and left bad feedback straight away is there any way I can fight that? Because obviously I can't give her neg feedback back.
