I got an email from them today apparently "determined that someone is trying to fraudulently use my account"

no S**t sherlock!! Namely the people sending the said message!!

as if I'm that stupid!

I have had those in the past and from 'Ebay' as well. I just forward it on to the fraud department after I go directly to either site. I never click a link from an email for either.

Make sure you report it to paypal hun. It will help with the fight against the scammers.

I've had a few from ebay too, was quite funny to wind them up - I know I shouldn't and I did report them to the fraud department, but they left too many open holes, lol like saying "my item" and stuff.....was a long time ago now though

Unfortunately there are people out there that do fall for scams like that :sigh: Glad you aren't one of them though!
