I feel CRAP today and it's really quickly came on. Yesterday I had a runny nose and sneezing a lot but today I have a sore throat, headache, and feel tired and a bit dizzy. Hope it's just a cold  |

| Mum (Mom) BnB Addict  Join Date: May 2009 Location: Yorkshire Posts: 6,474 | I can't say for sure if i have the flu but i've been terribly ill since last saturday. It basically started with a sore throat and just got worse and worse. I've been feeling feverish, i've vomited, chronic headache and serious coughing fits. I'm feeling better now but the cough won't go  I saw my midwife last week and when she examined bump i was really tender and sore around my ribs, right below my breasts, there's pressure on my lungs from the baby and she said this won't be helping with the coughing as it's all inflamed round there. So i'm really feeling sorry for myself lol. If you're feeling ill rest as much as you can and if YOU personally feel like you may be really coming down with something more than a cold I'd say contact your doctor because at the moment you can't be too careful. I wish i'd rested earlier on and not gone to work, it may have not exacerbated it so much. Hope you feel better soon. Take care. xx |

But there is a really nasty cold going around at the minute, which makes you feel rubbish. Well, round here there is anyway. Just make sure you rest, & get plenty of fluids, take paracetamol etc!  Hope you feel better soon xx |
