As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. I can't decide if I feel bad or relieved. I just called in sick to work, which is ok coz theres another manager on tonight. It is end of month but it's not really that much extra stuff to do.
I'm not entirely sure why I did. I guess I didn't feel like spending the whole night running around hot and sweaty on my feet.
But has anyone else realised that pregnancy is the best excuse? I'm not the kind of person who calls in sick alot. There are so many things that you can say to non-pregnant people and they just say ok and are genuinely concerned.
Thanks leeanne! I really need someone to say it's ok. I've been brought up with parents who go to work when they're dying, so it's shunned upon. Mind you, I have the house to myself
I'm the same my dads drags himself into work even if he's lying on his death bed sort of thing but I've called in sick last two days as I can't face going in and sitting at that desk with those twats all day. My hip/pelvis is causing me pain so lack of sleep is making me feel pants too. Just have the time off don't feel guillty at the end of the day if we need time of we'll take it!!!
