I would have 5 kids if I could. I love children and think siblings are a wonderful thing. As long as the family is loving, that is all that matters.

Honestly, I get jealous of women when I think about it. I feel like "why do they have kids so easily and I am stuck working so hard for one?" but I am never mad at them, you know...

The big plus to 5 kids in Alaska is dividends! They pay every resident about $1000 per year to live here. That would be LOTS of dividends. Each parent and each child. Ooooo... thats a lot of bonus every year. $$$$$

Im moving to alaska

For me personally, I only want 2 kids. But, that is me. Everyone is different. I would never look down on anyone who has a large family. My mom really really wanted a large family but it just didnt happen for her... (so she became a teacher) Layla, if it happens for you and Jase that would be wonderful.

Coming from a family with 5 children, when I was growing up I didn't like it at all. My mother was alcoholic, and we had absolutely no money. With 3 of us sharing a small bedroom, I kinda resented it. Now that I'm moved out and have my space, I love the fact I have 4 siblings. Though I don't think it's a good thing to do if you don't have the money to make sure they all get decent childhoods! Though I think my mother was a bad example.

ok thanks guys, this thread has made me feel better if i do catch.

I love having kids, i feel being a mum is the only thing im good at and i get so much out of it.

i cope really well with 4 (even if i do say so myself lol) so i dont think 1 more would make much difference.

I might not even catch anyway, Adam took some months of trying and frustration!

We are just going to be normal and see what happens, if its meant to be it will be...

xx

All I can think when I see a parent with 5 kids out and about? "Damn they are tough people!" Nothing but admiration for them! I do NOT want that many- 2 is good for me- but I see nothing wrong with it (like everyone else said, as long as the kids are respectful, taken care of, and loved!). I'm one of 5 myself, even though we never all lived in the same house. Kudos to you for having the patience!
