I'd love to have that many children so my honest reaction is "great!".
Both me and DH come from 5 child families.

I think they are nuts. But I am an only child, so it is just hard for me it imagine having that many kids around. It is just foreign to me. Other times, I look at large families and think how nice it must be at holidays and such.

I don't really "think" anything, but then I have 7 anyway + bump #8.
I wouldn't change a thing to be honest.
So long as the parents take the time to teach their kids respect then it doesn't matter how many they have.

What annoys me is the people who have loads of children and don't take the time to teach any respect or manners and then complain about the kids non-stop.

When I think of a family with 5 children I automatically think of closeness and a bond I suppose. I love the idea of large families

Firstly Kellz I take my hat off to you

Layla if it is what you want then no-one should make you change your mind and I dont think anyone can say your not a brilliant mother especially after all you have been through with Adam. But like everyone has said if you can love and emotionally support 5 kids then why not! You have fun trying!

xx
