Worlds smallest mum pregnant again

Hiya,

Just been reading this, i dont wanna upset anyone, but is it me, or does she look really weird being pregnant, her bump looks like its twice the same as her, but good on her for becoming a mum anyway, but would you risk your own life to have a baby? As medics have said this could be fatal for her? I dont kno if its fair on the children and her husband she's be leaving behind if something did happen to her? But her kids are cute though xxx

oh wow. good for her i guess but it is selfish in a way imo. if the pregnancy killed her then she would leave behind her husband and kids

From what I've read, the chances of passing the condition on is 25-50%, which alone makes me uncomfortable.

i can see both sides, i mean it is easy to say she should not have taken risks - be it to her or of passing on her condition

but at the same time the natural desire to be a mother is a very strong thing

It's hard to think pessimistically when they both just look so delighted and I guess really there are risks we face every day.

I read this in the hotel at the weekend and am still not sure what I think. All the while the pregnancies go well, great, but what about if one doesn't? And I know there are risks to everyone but not known risks like this one.

I've read about this lady before....I think she was told pregnancy could kill her the 1st time not that "this" pregnancy could kill her....read it again and that's the way it reads to me.

The urge to have children can be overwhelming....I can understand completely. There are millions of parents that put themselves at risk everyday, smoking, drinking excessively etc without a second thought for the kids and partner they'll leave behind so saying "she's" selfish is a little strong.Doesn't sound like pregnancy is a barrel of laughs for her but worth it in the long run I guess
