i want to shave my head

ok, i know i sound mad. ive had this urge to shave my head for years and its come back again lol i hate my hair, i never do anything with it, its really thick and a horrible colour. i have it brushed back into a ponytail every day and i do it really tight so i look bald anyway lol it just gets in the way and i hate it so much wen im in the bath and i get all this long hair twisted round my fingers and toes lol i told my oh i want to do it and he doesnt want me to (he likes long hair). maybe i should just do it this once to get it out of my sistem. i know itd look awful on me but i love the thought of not having to do anything with my hair lol

I shaved my head when I was about 16 (well my mum did it for me) it totally changed my hair when it grew back. I had dyed it ALOT from the age of about 13 and completely ruined it and I was very into the alternative/punk look. I got bored one day and asked my mum to shave it off apart from my fringe, she was more than happy to do it as she had always wanted her hair like it when she was young It grew back alot healthier. I would say though do it now then you can wear a hat out and about and it should be an ok length by spring/summer and you can have a really nice cut on it for summer time. Also if you do it see if you can get sponsored and raise some money for a charity

If you've been wanting to do it for years, like others say do it now, that way you can hide it with hats etc if you dont like it, plus as its xmas you can wear funky wigs as well!!! xxx
