the whole of warrington is blacked out my flat is ok but my 3 mates house down the road have no electric at all they are sending an engineer out but they dont no how long its going to take its werd

We used to get it loads in the flat. Half the street were in one area, and the other half another. We'd lose all power, but the post office next door were fine. Traffic lights would be out further down the road though! I'd often have to pop to the post office to borrow some boiled water from the kettle for Charlie's bottles!!
oh my! 16 hours thats crazy! we lost power for 2 hours, but luckily I was at work and missed it. Dave now appreciates all my candles!
The electricity board managed to drill thru their own cables, and then when they eventually dug up the area ready to do the repair, they realised they was the wrong side of a wall and had to now dig the other side! This was all at their main site to, so apparently a huge job!
We was OK, all we had to drink was beer which was cold and we played charades all night, was a great night actually! x
